Laboring, Laboring
Weekly Reading Topic for September 5, 2020:
Well, good morning, love! I just opened a Reading for you, my newsletter subscribers and here’s what I heard in answer to the following:
What do my readers most need to hear this weekend? What is the most important message to send to my beloved readers?
The answer was: “Laboring, laboring.”
What follows is your weekly reading, dearest one.
Weekly Reading │ Laboring, Laboring
Q: What do we need to know about “Laboring, Laboring?”
A: Has this week felt like a neverending string of tasks, to-do’s, and must-remembers? It’s been a tough time out there, for all of us.
Every subject is up. Every topic is on the table. Every problem is begging to be addressed. And that’s true on the personal, societal, business, and interpersonal level.
Argh. It’s enough to make a sane person feel crazed, and a calm person feel frenzied.
If you’ve felt like your blood pressure was out of control, well, it probably was.
This is not the time to slow down and think, or stop and rest, unfortunately. We’ve entered a looong period of True Work. It’s time to bend our minds to the task at hand, and our necks to the yoke. It’s time to labor, labor.
It’s laboring day this weekend, and there’s about five days in a row. On each day!
So remember this: you have a well of energy available to you that you almost never think to tap. And no, it’s not physical. It’s spiritual.
We have legions of angels (argh, these weekly readings are getting so woo woo!!! Hopefully not too!!) just WAITING to be asked for help. Yes, angels. Yes, waiting on us. Because here’s the thing: we live in a place where free will is the rule. We all get to do what we like. And no one can interfere. Our watchers do just that: watch. They watch, and wait, for us to ask them for help.
They are so interested in us! They love watching us, and they pay the closest attention to our every move, our every thought. They watch our dreams as if they are binge-worthy series, Game of Thrones, The Sopranos. They watch us brush our teeth and settle in for the night.
And they silently urge us “ask me for help. I can help you with that.”
THEY CANNOT HELP US WITHOUT OUR ASKING FOR IT. We have free will. So we are allowed to do it “by ourselves.”
And we rarely do ask for help. We just don’t THINK to. Who thinks of their angels? Even the 83% of Americans who believe angels are real don’t bother to ask them for help.
WHY NOT????
They are uniquely qualified for the following services:
- Advice about things Significant and Insignificant
- Assistance with everything from a leaking car battery (I once asked Archangel Michael to make my totally dead car start and it did — when I got to the dealership they couldn’t believe I’d been able to drive with a box of goo leaking all over the place for a battery) to a stuck pickle jar lid.
- Smoothing over of hurt feelings
- A gentling of a rainstorm
- A good night’s sleep
- Procuring a nice parking spot
- And so, so many more things!
Your angels, love, are just WAITING for you to ask for help. They are never too busy, or reluctant. They’re HERE for us.
And never, ever, in our lifetime, have we needed more help than we do now.
So. Ask. Ask for help. Here’s how.
- Think “uh, angel, I don’t believe in you at all, but I’ve been told that you might exist in some way, so yeah if you do, I could use a hand here.”
- Say out loud “St. Anthony, St. Anthony, please come around! [Insert lost item here] has been lost, and can’t be found!”
- Lay down on the floor and pound it with your little fists and kick it with your little feet and scream “I SAID I NEED IT” and demand help. NOW!!
- Sit in meditation and sweetly intone some chant or something and invite your angel to come close and then ask for help in some elaborate ritual that feels lovely to you.
It doesn’t matter how you ask. You also don’t have to be specific in your asking. Whatever you ask, and however you ask it, your angels will immediately get to work helping you. You may not see the results immediately, but you may FEEL them. You may feel calm, suddenly. Or like something has been answered. You might even hear words or a song. You might turn on the radio in the car and hear “Everything’s All Right,” or “Good Day Sunshine.”
You might notice a cloud in the shape of an angel in the early morning sky (when they are most likely to be there).
I promise, as we all labor, labor, labor, all this week and into the next year (!) we will need all the help we can get.
And so even if this sounds like hooey hogwash silliness, I invite you: what can be harmed? Does it hurt you to ask the angelic realms for help?
Nope. Not one little bit. You don’t even need to believe that anyone is listening.
Just do the asking.
Just ask. And see what happens.
Because believe me, the laboring we are doing is heavy and hard. And we need all the help we can get.
For even the smallest of things.
The angels aren’t too busy for us. They are here for us. And angels are lovely in that they do not judge. (Although if you were to see one “in the flesh” you might feel judged, simply because they are so terrifyingly Awesome.)
They simply serve. We are the universe’s adventurers, trying to cram an entire spiritual life into one lousy little human body. Angels don’t quite get why we are trying this thing, but they are in awe of us. That’s why they are legion — they fly overhead, watching us from all angles, waiting for the call. And if we could only see them, love, oh, they would blot out the sun, and the moon, and the stars with their powerful strange wings and alarmingly beautiful, still faces.
So ask. Just ask. It can’t hurt. It might help. All hands on deck time, right? The more of us who ask for angelic assistance, the better. We NEED all the help we can get.
So start asking. Ask for help with your stuff, your wife’s stuff, your kid’s stuff, the world’s stuff. Ask, ask, ask.
They will be so delighted to help!
I appreciate you, and your attention, and your love.
Thank you.
I am always here to serve in any way I can.
Much Love to You,
Molly
