Here We Are
Weekly Reading Topic for March 21, 2020: Here We Are
Well, good morning, love! I just opened a Reading for you, my newsletter subscribers and here’s what I heard in answer to the following:
What do my readers most need to hear this weekend? What is the most important message to send to my beloved readers?
The answer was: “Here we are.”
What follows is your weekly reading, dear one.
Weekly Reading │ Here We Are
Q: What do we need to know about “here we are?”
A: Well, here we are. This is the thing we have been preparing for, right? It looks like it, yes.
And, it must be said, this pandemic is multi-faceted, multi-dimensioned. The pressure being used right now to create this diamond of a crisis is tremendous, and as it must be, it is exerted from all sides.
And it will continue to press, for much longer than we want it to. It will feel relentless.
If you’re not feeling the pressure on all areas of your life, count yourself in the 1%.
As the pressure mounts, things that used to make sense turn into gibberish. Work that had meaning falls away, leaving some both destitute and rudderless. Relationships rupture and the various indulgences and addictions we all have built into our daily routines cannot be satisfied.
Every single structure is being affected. And every single routine is being disrupted. Everything that no longer works, everything we have let sort of limp along for the last few decades or years or months, will simply stop now.
We will have to rethink, rebuild, reconstruct.
And so it is good that inevitably, there is also clarity now. Simplicity. As the routines and assumptions of our daily lives are removed, one by one, we are left, quite alone, here.
Here. We. Are.
And Who We Are becomes crystal clear, shiny and bright like the diamond we’re becoming. Our compressed selves are not flat, two-dimensional, dismal.
We’re small, hard, tough, and bright. And you can see right through us.
And we can see right through ourselves. We have a chance, now to watch ourselves living despite being stripped nearly naked. We have a chance to make a new life. We have time to think deeply, listen carefully, and solve some of the longstanding problems of our own life, and our collective life.
Because, as always, Here We Are. And isn’t it a surprise? That life can change so quickly, so drastically, and yet, we’re still here?
There’s fear, yes, and rightly so. We should all be cautious, and take care of ourselves and those we love. But the fear is only the first response. Keep at it, keep feeling it, and it will eventually release.
Take yourself deeper this weekend. Go to the heart of your diamond, and look out at the world through the layers of clearing crystal. What is important? What do you value?
Who Are You, and How Do You Take Your Place in We?
And What Are We Making Now?
Here we are. We find ourselves in this extraordinary time, and these extraordinary places. Our homes (if we’re lucky).
We can’t physically reach out, but we can reach out nonetheless. Find ways to do more of what YOU can do despite this heartbreak of the soul.
Life has been lost, and will be lost, and we must mourn and support each other. And if you are not one of the lost, you must decide. If We Are Here, Where Is That? And Who Are We?
Time to choose. Time to choose yourself, your most inner sense of your own soul. Dive deep down in meditation, or daydreaming, or whatever takes you to a state of non-think, and rest. Stay there, and only come out when you are sure of Where You Are.
Because … Here We Are.
Sometimes music helps us to get there. I suggest playing whatever works for you. I personally know that Henryk Gorecki’s Symphony No. 3 always does it for me.
Sometimes meditation or prayer helps us to get there. One of the most powerful meditative practices you could undertake right now is the death meditation. Read about it here: https://tricycle.org/magazine/death-awareness/
Sometimes intense exercise helps us to get there. If you run in place until you drop of exhaustion, you might find your mind clear and burned clear of fear.
See You Here, with all the love in my heart and soul, and wide-open arms and a big burst of white light from the cosmos. Don’t forget to drop into the stillness in the center, and accept it.
I am always here to serve in any way I can.
Much Love to You!
Molly
